A discussion led by Josh Allen on Urban youth training around Nation Based Solutions and Riparian Corridor Design. What are people in the industry doing and dreaming of to connect Urban youth to rivers and stream corridors? This discussion will include a brief overview of a September 20, 2023, white house initiative to create local youth groups and programs to train in conservation skills and create meaningful jobs. There is a desire to use such programs to create meaningful gatherings for urban youth focused on mentorship and sharing related to riparian corridors.
